Privacy Policy
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how DeepMox collects and uses information when you visit, create an account, subscribe to, or otherwise use the DeepMox learning platform. DeepMox provides the service under the DeepMox brand and may update this policy as the service, law, or operational needs change.
Information we collect
We collect identifiers and account information, authentication and device-session data, subscription and billing references, learning progress and preferences, favorites, community activity, AI Create prompts and outputs, feedback, email preferences, support communications, security logs, browser and usage information, and approximate location inferred from network metadata. We do not intentionally collect full payment-card details; authorized payment providers process them.
How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize learning topics, remember progress, secure accounts, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, send required lifecycle and security emails, provide support, measure product quality, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and develop or improve DeepMox using aggregated or de-identified information.
AI and user content
When you use AI Create or other interactive features, DeepMox may process your prompts, generated content, topic interactions, and related metadata to deliver the feature, enforce quotas, troubleshoot safety or abuse issues, and improve service reliability. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and licenses required to submit content to AI Create and other features, including any text, links, files, or materials you provide. DeepMox does not verify ownership of, or rights to, the content you submit, and is not liable for any infringement or misappropriation arising from content you do not have the right to provide. You are responsible for determining whether your use of any generated output requires a third-party license and for complying with any such license.
Sources and disclosures
We obtain information from you, your browser or device, your use of the service, public sources you ask us to process, and providers involved in authentication, payments, hosting, security, analytics, communications and support. We disclose information to those providers only for business purposes such as operating, securing, supporting and paying for the service, and when required by law, corporate transactions or protection of rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California privacy law.
Cookies and similar technologies
DeepMox uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies for sign-in, device sessions, security, preferences, analytics and product functionality. Required technologies support authentication, fraud prevention and account features. Browser settings may block or delete them, but doing so can prevent parts of the service from working.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of eligible personal information, and may ask for information about its sources, use or disclosure. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request, use an authorized agent, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to a privacy regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
How to submit a request
DeepMox currently fulfills access, portability, correction and deletion requests through its verified support process; the product does not expose a self-service account-deletion or full-data-download control. Send a request from the email associated with your account to support@deepmox.com. Describe the right you want to exercise and the information involved. We may verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority before acting, and may retain a limited record of the request. Rights are subject to legal exceptions, including information needed for security, fraud prevention, billing records, legal claims and compliance. Privacy questions and complaints may be sent to the same address.
User choices
Security, billing and account-administration messages are required to operate the service. Product and marketing email preferences can be changed from Profile. You can manage browser storage through browser controls, although blocking required storage may prevent sign-in or subscription features from working.
Deletion, retention and subscriptions
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and continuity, comply with law, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of information, account status, legal requirements and operational risk. Account deletion anonymizes the user profile, revokes active sessions and removes eligible user-owned learning, community and AI records while retaining minimized billing, security, compliance and audit records when required for fraud prevention, legal obligations, chargeback defense or dispute handling. Turn off auto-renewal before deleting a paid account so future billing cannot continue after closure.
Security and international processing
DeepMox uses administrative, technical and operational safeguards designed to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where DeepMox or its providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Children
DeepMox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support@deepmox.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
